Veronica started a new school today. A therapeutic school, so now both of my daughters are in therapeutic schools. Today is also the first day in a few months that both of my girls have been in school. Let me explain. Since October of 2014 one or both of my girls have either been inpatient, out patient or most recently, Veronica was in a CBAT, which is inpatient, just not as strict as a typical inpatient stay.
Sooooo I'm really nervous to see how Veronica's first day of school was at her new school, but at the same time its a bit relaxing to have some normalcy back in our lives. I just really hope that Veronica doesn't end up dreading going to school the way Addie does. So many mornings are such a struggle. I wish I had a way to show her, teach her how important school is to your future. I know it is incredibly difficult for her, but she doesn't seem to understand the importance of it all. grrrrr
Well, I'm off to go pick Veronica up early for her Nero-Psych eval that she's having done today. Wish us luck!
